Relaxing massage in Sofia is a full-body massage with long, smooth strokes and light to medium pressure. Its aim is to loosen your muscles and help you rest. It suits you when you are tired, stressed or sleeping badly, and if you have never had a massage before. A massage for stress works best when you aren’t rushing afterwards.
What to expect
At the start, Kaloyan asks if there is anywhere he should be careful and what pressure you prefer. The massage is on a treatment table, with oil. You undress to your underwear, and any area that isn’t being massaged at that moment stays covered with a towel.
Kaloyan works with slow, even strokes over the whole body: back, neck and shoulders, arms and legs. The pressure is pleasant and shouldn’t hurt. You don’t need to talk. Many people doze off, and that is perfectly normal.
After the massage you may feel a little light-headed or sleepy. Get up slowly and drink some water. If you can, leave yourself some quiet time afterwards instead of rushing to a meeting.
