A consultation is a good start if you have pain and don’t know whether you need massage, kinesitherapy (exercise and manual therapy) or device-based physiotherapy. Kaloyan Zarkov asks you questions, watches how you move and uses tests to find where the problem comes from. At the end you know what he thinks is happening and what plan he suggests. If he thinks you need to see a doctor or have a scan first, he will tell you straight. You can have the consultation in English or Bulgarian.
When you can’t come to the practice, for example in the first weeks after surgery or after a stroke, Kaloyan comes to you in Sofia for home visits. Some device treatments are only possible at the practice.
The programmes are for the time after treatment or for a new goal. The training programme is an exercise plan that takes into account your old injuries and where you train. A nutrition plan works best alongside it, and body fat measurement shows whether you’re losing fat rather than muscle. If you’re in a lot of pain right now, start with a consultation. The programme comes once the pain has eased.
